Abbey College Birmingham is an independent sixth form college in the heart of Birmingham, with around 150 students, most preparing for A Levels with the remainder studying an International Business Foundation Programme or GCSEs.

We have an excellent track record of supporting students to achieve the A-Level and GCSE results that they need, enabling them to move onto university courses of their choice.

Abbey College Students achieve 2011 A-Level Success!

Abbey College students achieved a very good set of A-Level results in 2011, with 38% of all results being top A* and A grades, an increase of 9% on 2010.

Michael Abdou - Upper Sixth Student

It is with great sadness that Abbey College announces the death of Michael Abdou, Upper Sixth student, in a road traffic accident on Saturday 14th January.  The College is deeply shocked by Michael's death and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Michael's parents and family.

Michael's funeral will be on Friday 27th January from 12pm to 3pm at St Alphege Church, Solihull:  including the burial at Widney Manor Cemetary and followed by a reception at The National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull.

Dr and Mrs Abdou and their family invite staff, current/past students and parents of Abbey College to join them at Michael's funeral service and at the reception afterwards.
