  • Abbey College Birmingham has improved its overall A-Level grades for the fourth successive year. The overall A-Level pass rate was 99%, while the percentage of top A and B grades was 64%, an increase of 2% on 2009.

  • Abbey College Birmingham has achieved its highest GCSE results on record. There were excellent results in the high grades with 32% of all results being top A* and A grades, whilst 84% of subject results were at C grade or above.

  • Television, Radio and Newspapers share in the 2010 A Level success of Abbey College students!

    BBC and ITV cameras, Heart FM and Galaxy Birmingham radio and the Birmingham Mail were on hand to report the achievements of Abbey students this year. Students were interviewed about their excellent results and their university plans, and also spoke enthusiastically of their time at Abbey College.

    • I came to Abbey College in the middle of my GCSEs, into year 11. The one year course at first, seemed like a lot to handle, but I received a great amount of support from all my teachers, who were determined to get me the best grades I could get. This determination remained through out the whole year, allowing me to attain the grades I wanted in order to begin my A Levels in a good position.
