Michael Abdou - Upper Sixth Student

It is with great sadness that Abbey College announces the death of Michael Abdou, Upper Sixth student, in a road traffic accident on Saturday 14th January.  The College is deeply shocked by Michael's death and we extend our heartfelt sympathy to Michael's parents and family.

Michael's funeral was held on Friday 27th January at St Alphege Church, Solihull.  The burial was at Widney Manor Cemetery, followed by a reception at The National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull.

Michael's funeral was attended by a very large number of family and friends. It was a wonderful tribute to a very friendly and likeable young man who had exceptional artistic and creative talents, and had lived his life to the full.
