Pink Pamper - Well Done!

Abbey Birmingham Student Council, were tickled pink when they raised £311.05 for Breast Cancer Research, by hosting a Pink Pamper Evening here at the college!

Guests received a warm welcome from our students, who then set off on their mission to ensure all guests felt the benefits of the evening pamper.  Guests enjoyed make-up demonstrations and special offers on all purchases that they made.

Students arranged a sweet treat, with a surprise chocolate fountain, which was kindly donated for the evening by Second City Suites.  Guests devoured their sweet treat as they moved on to the next pamper.   The second floor of the college was transformed into a real pamper area with Clarins' signature chair centre stage, for back massages.  Guests were also treated to hand and arm massages with Clarins' oils.  One-to-one skin consultations were particularly enjoyed with a glass of pink wine or lemonade!

Sarah Bloomer, Pastoral Manager, said 'I am proud of all the students on the Student Council because of their independence in organising the event and their dedication to making sure that all guests really enjoyed their night'.

The College Council wishes to thank everyone who supported the event from buying a raffle ticket, to donations, and of course, attending!  The biggest thanks of all goes to the four Clarins' ladies who gave up their time (and goodie bags), their support and contribution towards an excellent charity was very much appreciated.  They really helped in making the evening a fantastic success, and sending us home truly pampered!
