Tony Raybould, Head of Lower Sixth teamed up with his student cohort to take on the staff in a softball match on Wednesday 22nd June at the National Indoor Arena.  Scores were as follows:

Innings 1

Staff - 9

Students - 14

Big hitters Don and Ian scoring a couple of home runs for the staff, taking them into a first innings lead.

Innings 2

Staff - 34

Students - 13

Don and Ian again stepped up to the plate, hitting some huge home runs and the staff raced away into a big lead.

Innings 3

Staff - 7

Students - 17

The students then rallied by Tony Rabould, let to narrow the deficit.

There were some notable catches from the student fielders, particularly in the first innings, and from Don in the staff team fielding in the third innings.  Thank you to staff members Don, Billy, Amandeep, Linda, Sonja, Rita, James, Russell, Mark, Oliver, Sarah and Jessie for participating in the match.
