Why the Poppy?

An Important Flower - Remembrance Day will be observed today, 11th November at 11:00am to recall the official end of World War I on that date in 1918; hostilities formally ended "at the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month" of 1918 with the German signing of the Armistice ("at the 11th hour" refers to the passing of the 11th hour, or 11:00 a.m.).

An important flower, with much meaning, written in poems and stories. The poppy, a memory taken from history and carried through to our present day and thereafter, used as a tool to help those in need, carried as a symbol of hope and worn on our clothing over our hearts.
