**Adi** applied for Optometry at Uni last year but missed his grades. This year he turned BDE in Bio, Chem and Maths into AAB and will be studying Optometry at Aston University this year.

**Lucas** Turned an E in Chemistry into an A in one year and, after achieving an A and B in Bio and Chemistry, was able to accept a place at the University of Bath to study for Accounting and Finance.

**Imran** could have gone to university to study for Pharmacy last year - in fact he did. However, in his first few weeks at university he realised that he could not settle for anything less than his original first choice: Aston. It was a difficult decision to make: to give up a place, go through the UCAS cycle again and secure an offer for Pharmacy; achieving the ABB needed. In fact, he did one better: secured AAB and will be off to Aston this summer.
